Rev. Dr. Gordon W. Marchant began his ministry at
Wilshire United Methodist Church pastor in July, 2009.
Before coming to Los Angeles, he had served churches
in Canada, Hawaii, and Washington D.C.
Pastor Gordon received his Bachelor of Theology in 1981 from Northwest Baptist Theological College and Seminary in Vancouver, Canada, He earned a Master of Divinity in 1993 from Briercrest Biblical Seminary in Caronport, Canada, and a Doctor of Ministry degree specializing in multi-ethnic church leadership from
Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington D.C.in 2008.
Pastor Gordon is married to Aleta and has three children.
